How many husbands has Lori Vallow had and what happened to them?

Lori Vallow is famously known as the mother of JJ Vallow and Tylee Ryan, two Idaho children who mysteriously disappeared in September 2019. She has an older son namd Colby Ryan who is still alive.

Throughout the course of her life, Vallow has been married at least five times over the years, including Chad Daybell, according to East Idaho News. Vallow’s four former husbands are Nelson Yanes, William Lagioia, Joseph Ryan, and Charles Vallow.

Her first marriage was to her high school sweetheart Nelson Yanes in 1992 when she was 19 years ended in divorce, and she later went on to marry Williams Lagioia in 1995 when she was at the age of 22. He became the biological father of her first child Colby Ryan who was born in 1996. They parted ways in 1998.

In 2001, Vallow married her third husband Joseph Anthony Ryan. They had a daughter named Tylee Ryan who was born in 2002. The pair were together for three years before divorcing in 2005, and KSAZ reported Joseph died of an apparent heart attack in 2018.

Lori then married Charles Vallow in 2006, and the couple adopted JJ at the suggestion of Charles’ sister Kay Woodcock, who had been caring for the boy at the time. Charles also had two children from a previous marriage.

Dateline reported the family lived in Hawaii for a few years before returning to Arizona in June 2018 – within a year, Charles filed for divorce. He was later fatally shot by her brother in Phoenix.

Chad Daybell is a writer best known nationwide as the spouse of Lori Vallow. Lori met Chad for the first time at a “Preparing a People” event. Before that, she had become interested in his Standing in Holy Places series of books.

At the time, they were all married. While Lori was married to her fourth partner, Chad was married to his ex-wife Tamara Daybell Douglas.

Lori then held an overnight gathering and Chad was present while her husband traveled on a business trip.

Chad captivated Lori and the group by sharing his unique religious beliefs. He claimed to have lived 31 different lives on different planets and categorized people as “light” or “dark,” based on their affiliation with Jesus Christ or Satan. Chad referred to Lori as an “eternal being” of 21 separate lives, five of which coincided with his own experiences on Earth. This belief system fascinated Lori, leading her to develop a strong attachment to Chad and his teachings.

On December 5, 2018, Chad and Lori appeared together on the Preparing a People podcast episode “Time to Warrior Up”. Chad later stayed at the Vallow residence in Arizona.

After the death of her kids, she married Chad Daybell in 2019 and at that time also, the writer’s wife had been murdered.
